KNACKIG is the brainchild of longtime friends and associates Santos Uy (Papilles) and Kevin Stuart (Infinity Imports), KNACKIG is downtown LA’s newest hotspot for Late Night Eats and Sunday lunch, on the patio outside Mignon Wine Bar. Pronounced ki-NAH-kig, KNACKIG is the German reference to the “snap,” “crack,” or “pop” that accompanies that first bite of an authentic German sausage.

We serve six distinctly different sausages: Bratwurst, Kasekrainer, Knackwurst, Polish Kielbasa, Spicy Chicken and Veggie Sausage. Locally sourced breads and buns accompany the sausages, along with a traditional potato salad. Artisanal beers and wines are also available, as “knackig” may also be used to describe very vibrant, acidic white wines such as Austrian Gruner Veltliner and German Rieslings.
